Sewn as issued, wrappers designed by GAN, an atractive copy with slight wear to spine and a minute repair to top inner corner of wrappers (on the inside).
Inscribed by the author in pencil: "Till vännen Stellan [Mörner] från förf."
A very fine association copy of the first Swedish modern art mantifesto. Stellan Mörner was a fellow artist, and a member of the so-called ”Halmstad Group”. The book has been inherited within his family until recently. GAN was introduced to the members of the Halmstad Group by his friend Egon Östlund, a resident of Halmstad from 1916. He became acquainted with Stellan Mörner in the late 1920’s. GAN published an article about the Halmstad Group in Spektrum no. 1/1932, and exhibited together with them as late as 1936 in Gothenburg.
