Ingeborg von Rosen (1901-1986) and her husband Hugo were among Johnson’s close friends.
Hans nådes tid (The Days of His Grace) is one of Johnson’s most important novels, and played a large part in earning him the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1974 (jointly with Harry Martinson).
