Together with a copy of the very rare ”Avslutande notis”, [(Finishing note), Stockholm 1946, [2] pp.], a leaf with information about Johnson’s sources, which he chose not to include in the novel. The leaf was printed in a very small edition for presentation.

Eyvind Johnson (1900-1976) was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature jointly with Harry Martinson in 1974.
