Two volumes, stapled as issued. Filing holes. Slightly worn, occasional underlinings in pencil and a few lines crossed out (by the author?). Inscribed by the author: ”Torsten Måtte Schmidt från tillgivne förf. med tillönskan om God Jul och Gott Nytt Strindbergsår 1969! Göran Söderström”.

Söderström’s doctoral thesis ”Strindberg och bildkonsten” was published in 1972, and his large monograph ”Strindberg’s måleri” in the same year, ediied by Torsten Måtte Schmidt.
